FIRM PROFILE

Yost & Tretta was formed in January of 1995.  Richard W. Yost and Christopher M. Tretta have accumulated over fifty years of insurance litigation experience.  The firm is engaged in a wide range of general and professional liability matters on a first and third party basis.

Since its inception, Yost & Tretta has grown steadily, increasing both the scope of its representation and its ability to provide quality legal services in the trial and appellate courts throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and other jurisdictions.

In addition to its litigation strength, Yost & Tretta's expertise in claims handling and insurance law has enabled it to assist insurance companies in policy drafting, regulatory work, and coverage analysis.

Yost & Tretta has distinguished itself in the following areas: professional liability, premises liability, employment law, product liability, transportation litigation, construction law, insurance company bad faith, and the representation of non-profit and religious organizations, insurance agents and brokers, directors and officers, physicians, dentists, psychiatrists, psychologists and related mental health professionals.  The firm also serves as supervisory counsel in multi-district litigation.

In response to the ever changing needs of its clients and in pursuit of the efficient disposition of cases, the firm utilizes alternative dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration.

Messrs. Yost and Tretta were named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers 2005, 2006.  Hard work, service and professionalism are the foundation and future of Yost & Tretta.
