RICHARD W. YOST
Born Glenside, Pennsylvania, 1954
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Temple University School of Law in 1982, after receiving a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. Since his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, Mr. Yost has been involved in all aspects of insurance litigation including the representation of insurance companies and the defense of their insureds in the general and professional liability context. Mr. Yost's practice includes insurance litigation, professional liability, employment litigation, first party property, subrogation, products liability, transportation, municipal liability and the representation of non-profit, religious and mental health organizations. Mr. Yost is a member of DRI, TIDA, ATLA and the Surplus Line Law Group. He is an experienced trial attorney with a broad-based background in all aspects of insurance defense, coverage analysis and subrogation.

Mr. Yost is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Yost has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating of “AV.”

Mr. Yost has extensive trial experience in all State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has argued successfully over forty times before the appellate courts of Pennsylvania and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

CHRISTOPHER M. TRETTA 
Born Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1953
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1978. He was graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University in 1975. Mr. Tretta's practice includes all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including employment litigation, construction law, premises liability, professional liability, false arrest, libel, products liability and toxic tort. 

Mr. Tretta has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating of “AV.” 

Mr. Tretta is a seasoned trial attorney admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

JOHN M. CAMPBELL
Born Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 1960
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1988 from the Delaware Law School of Widener University. He was graduated Cum Laude from Mount Saint Mary's College in 1982. Since his admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars in 1988, he has practiced in the field of insurance litigation and coverage analysis.  His practice includes the defense of insureds and self-insured entities in trucking and transportation related matters, dental malpractice and insurance agent errors and omissions cases and product and premises liability matters.

Mr. Campbell is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Courts of the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Campbell is the partner in charge of the firm’s New Jersey practice.

DONALD I. WALL

Born Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1962
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1988 from the Boston University School of Law, where he served as a staff writer for the Commentaries journal. He was graduated from Georgetown University in 1984. Upon his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable William Rufe, III, Court of Common Pleas, Bucks County. His practice involves all aspects of insurance defense, with an emphasis on mental health, religious organizations, employment, motor vehicle and premises liability.

Mr. Wall is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

PHILLIP J. MEYER
Born Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1949
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree, magna cum laude, from Temple University School of Law in 1986. He received a B.A. from Temple University in 1972 and a M.L.I.S. from Drexel University in 1981. He devotes his practice to insurance coverage issues. His experience is wide-ranging and involves claims arising under various types of policies. He has dealt with coverage issues relating to professional liability, sexual harassment and discrimination, construction and product defects, automobile and aviation liability, environmental clean-up and commercial torts.

Mr. Meyer co-authored “The Comprehensive General Liability Policy and Its Business Risk Exclusions: An Overview,” a chapter of the Reference Handbook on the Comprehensive General Liability Policy: Coverage Provisions, Exclusions, and Other Litigation Issues, published in 1995. He is also the author of “Insurance Coverage for Negligent Failure to Prevent Assault by Third Party” published in the April 1997 of issue Counterpoint, Pennsylvania Defense Institute.

Mr. Yost has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating of “AV.”

Mr. Meyer is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

TIMOTHY R. CHAPIN
Born Buffalo, New York, 1959
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1989 from Temple University School of Law. He was graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Sciences in 1985. His practice encompasses all areas of insurance litigation including premises and products liability, maritime law, environmental law, professional liability, toxic torts, contractual liability, complex litigation and automobile liability.

Mr. Chapin is admitted to practice before the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Chapin is currently serving a three year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Judicial Campaign Advisory Committee, and has been appointed to successive three year terms since 1995.

MICHAEL F. KERNOSCHAK
Born Carbondale, Pennsylvania, 1955
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2000 from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware. He was graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University in 1987.

Mr. Kernoschak is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Courts of the State of New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

DAVID B. FORBES
Born Lavelle, Pennsylvania, 1977
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2004 from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as Associate Editor of Student Works of the Environmental Law Journal.  He was graduated, Cum Laude, from Susquehanna University in 2000.  Upon his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Linda Wallach Miller, Court of Common Pleas, Monroe County.  His practice areas encompass premises and products liability, construction, commercial and employment law.

Mr. Forbes is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

LAURA ANN TAYLOR
Born Collegeville, Pennsylvania, 1981
Received her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2007 from Temple University Beasley School of Law. She was graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in 2003. During law school, she served as Law Clerk to the Honorable James J. Fitzgerald, III, Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County.  Her practice encompasses all areas of insurance litigation including insurance defense, subrogation and coverage.

Ms. Taylor is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Courts of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court of New Jersey.

JAMES LIEB RICHARDS
Born Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, 1977
Received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2007 from Widener University School of Law where he was graduated Cum Laude. He received a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 2000. His practice includes all aspects of insurance defense litigation.
